For the first time during Ventana Sur, Eye on Films is supporting the creation and new directors by giving a 2 000€ prize to the winner of the Primer Corte award. Clementine Hugot, Head of international sales and acquisitions for WIDE and member of the jury will attend Ventana Sur and present the prize to the winner. If the winner is a 1st or 2nd film, it will be also offered to join the Label and if not a 1st or 2nd, WIDE will offer a mandate proposition for international sales by the company.

 Eye on Films is currently developing its partnerships throughout Latin America. We are very proud to announce that Elba MCALLISTER from CINEPLEX joined the network as a distribution partner, thus helping the 1st and 2nd time directors that are part of the Label to reach the Latin American audience.

The VoD platform FILMIN Colombia has also joined the Label since San Sebastian film festival 2012. The first Latin American companies which joined the Label were the distributors IMOVISION (Brazil), GITANO FILMS (Chile), VALDIVIA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (Chile) and FESTIVAL DO RIO (Brazil).

We are pleased to announce the implementation of a partnership with the website LatAm specialized in the Latin American Film Industry. LatAm will communicate frequently about the activities of Eye on Films related to Latin American films and events.
