RICARDO VELARDE
He worked as an animator and video producer for more than a decade and graduated from The London Film School, as a Director with his suspense short HUNTED (UK, 2008). In 2009, Ricardo completed a post-graduate degree in editing where he had the opportunity to have Jaime Estrada-Torres as a mentor, who has worked alongside renowned directors such as Stanley Kubrick, Werner Herzog, Tim Burton, Mike Figgis, among others, and with whom Ricardo met again later to edit together THE LIGHT ON THE HILL. In 2011, he founded his production company Caudal Films with his wife, Michelle Prazak. They start the company with the aim of focusing on the development and production of _lm and television genre productions rooted in the cultural diversity of their country. THE LIGHT ON THE HILL is his first feature film.
