In the city of Taipei, a man, Abbas, is relentlessly looking for a young French girl who disappeared years ago. His Taiwanese partner tries her best to bring him out of the state of drowsiness that guides his wandering. But Abbas carries within him the obsessive memory of tragic events...
Seven years earlier. Abbas and Clara live together in a mountain village cut from the world and deserted by its population. The couple survives in the constant threat of a devastating virus. People becoming infected with the disease are suffering from disturbing behaviour. On her part, Clara bears her isolation even less since Abbas appears particularly cold and distant with her.
One day, in he woods, Abbas discovers a child who hides her mother affected by the disease...

Franck Guérin

Franck GUERIN directed clips and short films (Some days left with Marion Cottillard - 2001) and became a talented director of documentaries mainly broadcasted on Arte (I love democracy Tunisia, United States of Obama,…) . His first feature A summer day (with Jean-François Stévenin, Baptiste Bertin - TV Movie - 2006) won international awards such as Fipresci/Mannheim, Best First Feature/Namur, Best European Film/Avignon-New York and had been selected in Taipei International Film Festival. Invited for the screening in the taïwanese city, the idea of One o One came to his mind. Shot between France and Taïwan, this aesthetic and universal quest enhanced by the acting performance of Yann Peira was released in France in june 2012.
