An actress is getting ready to come on stage to impersonate Mariana Alcoferado, a young nun from the convent of Beja who wrote inflamed letters to her French lover, the officer of Chamilly. The actress who became Mariana, is taking us into a timeless travel which exceeds the boundaries of her imagination.

Bruno François-Boucher
After obtaining his cinema degree in France, Bruno François-Boucher began to work as an assistant director for André Téchiné, Patrice Leconte, Alain Corneau and Luc Besson. He later directed several short films, screened and awarded in film festivals : Coup de pompes, Jeu de vilains, Fils de personne, Grain de folie (Téhéran Film Festival). The letters of the Portuguese nun is his first feature he co-directed with Jean-Paul Seaulieu.
